If you are going to make money in an online venture, you are going to need a couple of things for sure. You are going to have to build a subscriber list, and you will also need to accumulate some type of online real estate. If you are going to be able to show off your products and services, you are going to have to have a website. If you want to be able to control and edit your content, that website should be a blog. I will cover some key reasons that you want to use a blog as a cornerstone of your personal online real estate.
OConsider many types of content. Blogs allow you to upload images, create links, and allow users to make comments. Your blog will have many more readers if you make your blog exciting with these pluses.
Sound easy? For the most part it is. The key though is to have enough daily, weekly and monthly viewers to make it worth your advertisers money. Nobody is going to spend money advertising on a blog that doesn’t get a lot of traffic. So driving traffic to your blog is the most important thing.
Just putting your blog online is not enough. After all, there are many millions of Amazing new content on the web right now, so unless your blog is on a high-traffic site, you may not get readers unless you advertise. You can easily advertise your blog without spending a cent by mentioning your blog in your emails and web pages or newsletters. You can also enter in online competitions – if your blog wins a prize you are more likely to get a constant flow of traffic to your blog. You can also ask ezines and other content providers to review your blog, which will also draw readers.
Don’t be scared of failure. This prevents you from even trying in the first place. If you do fail, learn from your mistakes and move on. Treat becoming rich as a game. Don’t take it to seriously and have fun.
The next step is advertising your blogs. You can do this by joining various forums. Most forums or discussion boards allow you to have a signature with a link. Try to post interesting comments. This will make people curios to visit your blogs. The worst thing you can do is to invite people to read your online blogs via email. This is considered to be spam. All you have to do is to get involved in discussions. Share your opinions and ask questions.
Some internet marketers have mailing lists. To entice you into joining these mailing list they’ll give away a free e-book or video – join a few really good lists and read, or watch the free material you get.
Do not talk about sex openly or tease for you never know who is watching. Keep your personal information to yourself. If you are going to meet with someone on line you really like, do it with a group in a public place. Being a social butterfly is not a bad thing you just have to be careful of what you post and who you are chatting with. Parents please remember to let them know your door is always open and that you promise to listen and not yell!
