Attract New Customers Through Your Rich Content Blogs

When I first wrote my original “Why I Hate Blogs” for article submission I was pretty sure that the humor would get some hits but in my wildest dreams I never thought that out of the 26 articles I did write that it would be second in the amount of the hits it did get. Actually it was dark humor because I honestly do hate spending the time blogging away or let us be more specific – I honestly DID hate spending that time.

Many blogs are boring journals/diaries filled with personal information of little interest to the general population. These give blogs and blogging a “bad name.” But, we must also remember that there are many far-from-delightful websites and e-newsletters too! All we need to do is click away – fast.

And if you want to create and manage dozens or hundreds of blogs, these software make the entire process a breeze. With these blogging software you can end your frustration with the complexities and jargons of blogging, especially using WordPress and start blogging your way to Internet fortunes.

Look at the websites for major magazines that appeal to your target customer. Lots of them have blogs (which should be an obvious target for you) BUT many of these sites also list their favorite Brainstorming. For example: Martha Stewart has a “blogs I Like” section on her site. Shoot, if it’s good enough for Martha, it’s probably good enough for you.

The legitimate ones publish free to re-publish articles from article banks on their site and keep the author info and bio (and links) in place. They also often republish press releases which are also in the common domain. For these types of sites there is nothing illegal being done. I don’t have problem with these types of sites because they do provide a way for articles such as this to reach a wider audience, a better site is one that takes this information and adds their own comments and reviews. This is providing a real service to their readers by giving their own opinion, not just the regurgitation of others.

This awesome entrepreneurial spirit transmogrified Blogs into what they are today: very powerful marketing weapons that have almost made some other forms of advertising, redundant. It never ceases to surprise me how ingenious people are when it comes to finding new ways to generate cash flow, particularly in web marketing – what a power-house!! It leaves real-world business for dead (in my opinion).

I still hate blogging. But life is not full of doing only those things we like. Use your blog if you are serious about promoting your business. And use your blog if you want to promote yourself. Don’t expect a million hits a minute but don’t be surprised if your blog turns out to be a positive addition to your web presence. I certainly was and continue to be amazed at the results.
